COSMETICA Hannover is taking a break in 2024
There will be no COSMETICA Hannover this year. Instead, we are hosting COSMETICA Dortmund from September 7th – 8th.
We look forward to welcoming you in 2025.
Summer trends thrilled the trade audience
On July 1st and 2nd, 2023, COSMETICA Hannover opened the doors to its eagerly waiting trade audience from the north in the best trade fair weather. Around 340 exhibiting companies and top brands from the areas of cosmetics, foot care, permanent make-up, lashes, wellness and accessories as well as the extensive COSMETICA supporting program with workshops, lectures and shows thrilled the 7,625 visitors, who were already looking forward to stylish luggage tags at the entrance were allowed.
Valuable technical input
The GUTzuFUSS meeting took place as part of COSMETICA Hannover, where podiatrists and chiropodists were able to take part in workshops and live lectures with further training points. The foot professionals from the north were enthusiastic. There were already numerous registrations in advance for the workshop “Acupuncture tapes on the foot and examples of use” by Jörg Halfmann. But those who made a spontaneous decision were also able to enjoy taking part on site. The lectures “Diabetes & Foot Deformities” with Jörg Halfmann and “Biomechanics of the Foot in Diabetic Neuropathy” with Dr. med. Florian Thienel visited. The bulging goodie bags from sponsors Gustav Baehr, Gehwol, Ocean Pharma and Remmele’s Propolis were also very well received by the participants and made their faces smile.
Of course, creative and craftsmanship input could not be missing at COSMETICA in Hanover this year. Here, as in previous years, the knife organizers were once again able to recruit Brigitte Würfl and Patrick Maldinger for the workshops. Brigitte Würfl, for example, introduced “Facial Cupping”. Cupping improves the blood supply to the facial skin and therefore absorbs care more effectively. In another workshop, the participants learned the “threading technique” for “plucking” eyebrows.
Meeting the stars of the industry
At the COSMETICA Stage, Malu Wilz and Patrick Maldinger thrilled the audience with their expertise and skills with live styling – a special kind of color spectacle that was absolutely worthy of the opening of the summer make-up trade fair.
For the first time there was a meet & greet with the two well-known and popular cosmetics experts Patrick Maldinger (aka Make-up Rocker) and Gaffar Taha (marketing professional and founder of Beauty Business 24) on the COSMETICA Stage. Here the two speakers lit a firework of knowledge on the topic of “Using social media correctly” and shared their tips and learnings with the curious audience. The program item was so well received that visitors to COSMETICA Wiesbaden and Berlin can also look forward to it.
